Precipitation alerts are generated by PrecipTimer® which uses the US composite radar and wind data. The composite radar is a compilation of Puerto Rico and all continental US NEXRAD sites. Precipitation alerts are only available to continental US locations, Puerto Rico, and some Canadian locations located within the footprint of the US composite radar.
